Unraveling the Granthis: A Tantric Approach to Overcoming Drama

As a Jedi Minister, Tantric Practitioner, and gay man, I’ve found a powerful synergy between these practices in overcoming drama and unraveling the granthis.

So let’s start with defining Drama. Drama is a STATE OF BEING that is in REACTION to a situation. A state of being includes emotions, body sensations, thoughts, physical location, and attitude. Often this drama gets stored in our bodies as sasarara or blockages.

You can think of Granthis as velvet ropes along our energy path. The first being around the Sacral Chakra is the Brahama Granthi. In simple terms the Brahma Granthi keeps the energy in our lower centers, the animal nature. The second is the Vishnu Granthi is between the Heart and the Throat Chakras. The Vishnu Granthi keeps us from our higher calling, from our voice, our intuition. Finally is the Rudra Granthi and it is between the Third Eye and Crown Chakras. The Rudra Granthi keeps you from your connection to The Greater Force.

Tantric practices offer a practical approach to addressing both drama and granthis:

1. Increased self-awareness: Tantra emphasizes mindfulness and self-observation, helping us identify and address the mental and emotional patterns that contribute to drama.
2. Cultivated energy flow: Tantric practices, such as meditation, breathing exercises, and mudras, can improve the flow of energy through the subtle body, dissolving the granthis.
3. Letting go of duality: Tantra encourages us to embrace the interconnectedness of all things, letting go of the false sense of separation that fuels drama.
4. Connection with a higher power: By connecting with the Force (or a higher power of your choice), we can tap into a source of strength and wisdom that helps us overcome challenges.
